Mickey Rourke is one of my favourite screen actors - always with an air of sexual danger about him. My favourite movie is “Angel Heart” … he was great in it and exactly right for the character.

It’s just a shame that he and others have resorted to plastic surgery. The boy has gone and a satyr-like version remains. Fay Dunaway has done the same thing, with “trout-pout” lips.

It surprises me that either of them have been threatened by age…which could only have improved them, considering their type.

I agree I agree…Cold and Snow are just not Me! The other morning I had to return the hire car I had used over Chrismas…When I got to it at 6.45am, it was covered in white frost. All I had was a credit card, which I then used to scrape the windows clear. It took about 20mins and my fingers were white and bloodless. Driving was difficult from that moment, with no feeling in my perished didgets….I look forward to the Sun and the Summer.

Brit TV series….(wow) It’s difficult for me because I don’t watch much TV nowadays…I perform on-stage in the evenings and I’m on tour, so I don’t get to set my recorder….but your post still makes me smile

I’ve given up on TV. There is just so much drivel on now. We get the same stuff on UK tv - I’m sick of Reality TV Hells Kitchen etc etc ad nauseum…

So I cancelled my cable subscription and I haven’t bothered to switch on the TV for around 3 months and I don’t miss it.
